Hoka Hey Rider #1321
Rides for Kids!

On August 2, 2026, I’m taking on the World’s Toughest Motorcycle Challenge — The Hoka Hey. I’ll ride 11,000 miles across the country using only turn-by-turn paper directions, sleep beside my bike — no hotels — all to raise awareness and support for 7 boys battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Hoka Hey is an expression associated with the Lakota people. It is often interpreted as conveying the spirit of “Today is a good day to die.” It is not about death—it is about living with courage, honor, and purpose. It reminds us to face challenges without fear, embrace hardship with integrity, and give our best every day. It is the spirit of the warrior.
